As AI tools like ChatGPT become increasingly common, it's essential to establish clear guidelines on their use within our Discord server to maintain the integrity and quality of our discussions.
This policy outlines how AI-generated content should be used responsibly and transparently in our community.
ChatGPT and other AI-generated responses are allowed within the server, but users must clearly indicate when AI has been used whether it has been reworded or only partly used.
In support and help channels AI-generated responses are strictly prohibited. These channels are intended for genuine learning and problem-solving, and we encourage users to seek assistance from our dedicated volunteers and mentors if needed.
While AI tools can be beneficial, they are not infallible. Users should exercise caution and verify the accuracy of any AI-generated content before sharing it. It’s important to remember that AI is a supplement to, not a replacement for, human expertise.
All AI-generated content must adhere to our community standards. This means maintaining respect, avoiding offensive content, and ensuring that AI-generated responses do not violate server rules. Users are fully responsible for the content they generate using AI tools.
The use of AI tools should be moderate and should not dominate the conversation. If a user is found to be excessively relying on AI-generated content, they may be asked by moderators or admins to reduce or stop their usage. We value authentic interactions and encourage members to contribute their own thoughts and ideas.
Using AI to automate responses or interactions that mimic human behaviour is not allowed. This is against Discord’s Terms of Service, also known as “Self-Botting”.
If you believe that someone is misusing AI tools or violating these guidelines, please report it to a moderator or admin. We take misuse seriously and will address it in accordance with our community’s disciplinary procedures.
