We are searching for a talented QA Engineer for an exciting and growing technology focused business. The ideal individual will foster best practices across cross-functional teams whilst driving and influencing long-term vision and strategy for manual and automated testing. Being the first on our QA team, your work is going to ensure great user experiences for over 2 million users!

Responsibilities

• Establish our QA team by designing, developing, and implementing quality processes across engineering
• Develop effective test strategies, plans and automation scenarios to increase efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts
• Collaborate with the development team identifying and reporting any performance issues and inconsistencies
• Supporting and defining quality strategies for growth squads
• Managing and leading members of your team
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and methodologies
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

Requirements

• Previously led or managed a QA team
• Relevant years of experience with the following:
  • test automation, including web-based UI testing
  • working in a start-up environment
  • test management tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail, Cypress etc.)
  • REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, Git
  • NodeJS, React, NoSQL databases
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable communicating in English with strong interpersonal skills
