Introduction

TryHackMe is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all members, including younger audiences and those who prefer not to engage with mature content. To align with these values, we enforce a PG-13 content policy on our Discord server.

Definition of PG-13 Content

PG-13 content is defined as material suitable for individuals aged 13 and above. It avoids explicit themes but can address more mature topics in a manner that is appropriate for teenagers and adults alike. The following guidelines specify the types of content that are acceptable and those that are not permitted within our community.

Acceptable Content

• Mild Violence: Non-graphic violence, such as cartoonish or fantasy conflicts, is permissible if it is not detailed or gory.
• Mild Language: Infrequent use of mild swear words; however, any language that is sexual in nature or is derogatory toward any group of people based on race, gender, nationality, or sexual orientation is strictly prohibited.
• Subtle Mature Themes: Discussions of complex themes such as mental health are allowed when handled sensitively and without explicit detail. We encourage users to seek medical help when appropriate.

Unacceptable Content

• Explicit Violence or Gore: No depiction of intense, graphic violence or gore.
• Strong Language and Hate Speech: The use of harsh swear words, slurs, or any language intended to harm or demean others is forbidden.
• Sexual Content: No explicit sexual content or nudity.
• Illegal Substances or Activities: No promoting or glorifying illegal activities, see.

Consequences of Violations

• Initial minor violations will result in a warning.
• Any content deemed beyond PG-13 will be immediately removed from the server.
• Repeated or severe violations will result in bans from the community.
