About the Role

TryHackMe’s global community contains a combination of aspiring security practitioners and experienced security professionals. We’re looking for a community leader to help us better support our community to meet TryHackMe’s vision of making it easier to break into cyber security.

• Drive our community strategy. You will build and own our community strategy, developing programs, processes and communication tactics to foster community engagement, learning and growth.
• Proactively gather user feedback and insights to inform marketing strategies, product enhancements, and user retention efforts. Utilise surveys, polls, or other feedback mechanisms to collect valuable data and understand user preferences, needs, and pain points.
• Listen to users. Constantly monitor and participate in conversations about TryHackMe across the internet, passing feedback from new and power users. Incubate a culture of learning and curiosity between our community and the entire TryHackMe team.
• Discord community Management. Work with our Discord mentors and moderators to continuously improve the vibrant culture of our community.

Skills and Requirements

• You have experience in within Marketing roles focusing on community programs, project management and social media.
• You’re analytical. You know how to conduct experiments, understand metrics and are comfortable using tools like Google Analytics and Hubspot to create reports.
• You’re comfortable with video. You’ve created videos on YouTube and hosted webinars for a company. You’re charismatic and easy to understand on video.
• You’ve built significant communities. You’ve helped create or moderate a community for yourself or a company before.

A huge plus but not essential: You’re a TryHackMe power user. You’re comfortable using TryHackMe and have completed a range of rooms.

💸 Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 GBP, depending on experience.
