Purpose
The TryHackMe Discord server includes Advanced Channels that are specifically designed for in-depth discussions on complex cybersecurity topics. These channels are restricted to users with a higher experience level to ensure that you are genuinely interested in cybersecurity.
Topics Restricted to Advanced Channels
The following topics are reserved for discussion within the Advanced Channels due to their complexity and potential sensitivity:
- Malware discussion
- Official TryHackMe Malware rooms are excluded from this, as long as they remain in the help channels.
- Phishing
- This includes the discussion of phishing tools, such as ngrok.
- Wi-Fi Hacking
Rules and Moderation
While the Advanced Channels allow for more specialised discussions, the general rules of the TryHackMe community still apply:
- Discussions must remain within legal boundaries. Promoting or engaging in illegal activities is strictly prohibited.
- Do not share, link to, or distribute malicious files or software.
- Maintain a respectful and professional tone in all discussions. Personal attacks, harassment, and unprofessional behaviour are not tolerated.
